Ben Patterson

Ben Patterson founded and operates DashGo, a digital content distribution and services platform for independent artists, labels and content owners. DashGo provides online distribution, campaign execution and strategic marketing services. Since 2004, DashGo has focused on creating new revenue streams and promotional opportunities for artists and securing deals with Apple, YouTube, Emusic, Spotify, Hulu and most major DSPs worldwide. DashGo artists have been prominently featured in Rolling Stone, Yahoo Music, AOL Music and YouTube. Clients and partners include Weezer, Rocket Science, Coconut Records, Delicious Vinyl, The Adam Carolla Podcast and This American Life.

DashGo develops new technologies and platforms with clients and partners as well - including iPhone applications (Delicious Vinyl DJ), pay by Twitter music stores (TwoTweet.com) and Twinterview - a promo tool to fan-source interviews and contests via Twitter and Facebook.

Prior to founding DashGo, Patterson served as Executive Vice President of GMG Entertainment, where he led a digital entertainment consultancy team for Target, and worked with clients including Sony, Ford and Cingular on entertainment marketing and online promotion programs.

With a background of 10 years in digital music, Patterson previously served as the VP of Digital Music and Strategic Development at The Firm, one of the world’s largest management companies, where he guided digital business and marketing for clients including Linkin Park, Dixie Chicks, Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg and brands including Pony and Virgin Cola.
